Training pathway guide for therapists (THE)
Audience, method, parts, assessment
Aim of the pathway
To enable professionals who are already trained to combine constellations with their clinical framework in individual practice: figurines, anchors, visualisation, genogram, relationship themes, health, complex situations, professional ethics. The pathway rests on the principle that the rules of your own profession take precedence and that the client’s safety comes before any tool.
The six parts
| Part | Modules | Content | Indicative duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 — Clinical systemic foundations | 1.1 to 1.4 | Systemic thinking, orders of love in clinical reading, resonance and field, combining with the clinical framework | 4 to 5 h |
| 2 — Tools for the individual practice room | 2.1 to 2.4 | Figurines, floor anchors, visualisation and empty chair, active genogram | 4 to 5 h |
| 3 — Relationship themes in individual work | 3.1 to 3.4 | Parent-child, couple and separation, grief and loss, transgenerational issues and secrets | 5 to 6 h |
| 4 — Health, body and symptoms | 4.1 to 4.4 | The symptom in systemic reading, chronic illness and pain, addictions and eating disorders, fertility and perinatal grief | 5 to 6 h |
| 5 — Complex situations and safety | 5.1 to 5.4 | Trauma, fragile clients, abuse and violence, integration | 4 to 5 h |
| 6 — Professionalisation and practitioner ethics | 6.1 to 6.4 | Articulated ethical framework, professional relationship, documentation and consent, supervision | 3 to 4 h |
How to follow the pathway
- Prerequisite: the FAC training (Parts 1 to 3, 5 and 6). Then follow the parts in order. Total indicative duration: 25 to 31 hours.
- Each module includes a course page, exercises and a self-assessment test (10 questions, pass mark 6/10).
- The pathway’s global glossary is in this course; a link leads to it from each part.
- The forums are for exchange between professionals. Do not post any client data there.
Certificate
The self-assessment tests award no title. Any certificate is issued by the training organisation, is not a state diploma and does not open up the practice of any regulated profession.
Optional levels
Modules 2.1 to 3.4 end with optional levels (Advanced, Expert, Master). They deepen the module, stay within the same course and are not assessed in the final exam.
