Aim of the course
To understand the family constellations method, its history and its limits, and prepare to practise or support it responsibly: distinguishing what is established from what belongs to the tradition or to hypothesis, putting people’s safety before any systemic reading, and respecting the legal framework of your country.
The six parts
| Part | Modules | Content | Indicative duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 — Theoretical and historical foundations | 1.1 to 1.4 | History, fundamental concepts, systemic principles, theoretical influences | 5 to 6 h |
| 2 — Systemic orders | 2.1 to 2.4 | The three orders of love, dynamics, entanglements, particular fates | 6 to 7 h |
| 3 — Constellation practice | 3.1 to 3.4 | How a constellation unfolds, roles and stances, techniques and tools, facilitator skills | 7 to 8 h |
| 4 — Specific themes | 4.1 to 4.4 | Couple, health and symptoms, money, death and mourning | 8 to 9 h |
| 5 — Developments and complementary approaches | 5.1 to 5.4 | New approaches, complementary tools, research and validation, specific applications | 6 to 7 h |
| 6 — Professionalisation and ethics | 6.1 to 6.4 | Ethical framework, stance, legal aspects, associations and certifications | 6 to 7 h |
How to follow the course
- Follow the parts in order: each assumes the previous ones. Total indicative duration: 38 to 44 hours of reading and exercises.
- Each module includes a course page, exercises and a self-assessment test (10 questions, pass mark 6/10).
- The course’s global glossary is in this course; a link leads to it from each part.
- The forums allow learners to exchange. Do not post any personal data there.
- For therapists, a complementary programme, Therapist Training — Individual Practice (THE), assumes this course (Parts 1 to 3, 5 and 6).
Certificate
The self-assessment tests award no title. Any certificate of attendance is issued by the training organisation, is not a state diploma and does not open up the practice of any regulated profession.
Optional levels
Each module ends with optional levels (Advanced, Expert, Master). They deepen the module, stay within the same course and are not assessed in the final exam.
